Senior Executive – Quality Control (Packaging)

HCP Wellness Private Limited is looking for a Senior Executive – Quality Control (Packaging) to manage and execute packaging material testing and inspection activities. The selected candidate will be responsible for checking packaging materials such as bottles, tubes, caps, jars, labels, cartons, pumps, stickers, mono cartons, laminated tubes, and other packaging components used in cosmetic and personal care manufacturing.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in packaging QC, packaging material inspection, cosmetic packaging testing, quality documentation, GMP compliance, and vendor quality coordination.

Key Responsibilities
Perform quality inspection and testing of packaging materials used in skincare, hair care, oral care, toothpaste, and cosmetic manufacturing.
Check bottles, tubes, jars, caps, pumps, labels, cartons, mono cartons, stickers, shippers, laminated tubes, and other packaging components.
Verify packaging materials as per approved specifications, artwork, shade cards, dimensions, approved samples, and quality standards.
Conduct visual inspection for printing errors, shade variation, damage, leakage, scratches, dents, sealing issues, and packaging defects.
Review and maintain packaging material testing records, inward inspection reports, rejection reports, COA, and QC documentation.
Coordinate with purchase, warehouse, production, QA, R&D, and vendors for packaging material quality issues.
Identify non-conforming packaging materials and raise deviation, rejection, or quality observation reports as required.
Support vendor quality improvement by sharing packaging defects, inspection feedback, and corrective action requirements.
Ensure proper sampling, labeling, storage, and release process for packaging materials.
Follow GMP, SOP, GLP, safety, hygiene, and documentation standards during all QC activities.
Maintain packaging inspection instruments, testing tools, approved samples, and reference standards.
Support audits, internal quality checks, and compliance activities related to packaging material quality control.

Required Skills
Strong knowledge of packaging material testing and packaging quality control.
Experience in cosmetic, personal care, oral care, toothpaste, pharmaceutical, or FMCG packaging inspection.
Ability to check packaging materials as per specifications, artwork, dimensions, and approved samples.
Good understanding of GMP, SOP, QC documentation, deviation, rejection, and quality compliance.
Knowledge of bottle, tube, carton, label, cap, pump, jar, sticker, and mono carton inspection.
Strong observation skills for identifying defects, printing issues, color mismatch, leakage, damage, and dimension variation.
Good communication and coordination skills with vendors and internal departments.
Ability to maintain accurate QC records, reports, and packaging inspection documentation.
Basic computer knowledge for documentation and quality reporting.
Leadership ability to guide junior QC team members during packaging inspection activities.

Educational Qualification
B.Sc. Chemistry, M.Sc. Chemistry, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Diploma, or any relevant science background.
Freshers with strong interest in quality control and analytical testing can apply.
