Job Description

HCP Wellness Private Limited is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist for Packaging Material Testing. The selected candidate will inspect, test, verify, and document packaging materials used in skincare, hair care, oral care, toothpaste, and private label cosmetic manufacturing.

This job is ideal for candidates who want to build a career in packaging QC, cosmetic packaging testing, packaging material inspection, GMP documentation, and manufacturing quality systems.

Key Responsibilities
Inspect bottles, tubes, jars, caps, pumps, labels, cartons, stickers, and laminated tubes.
Check packaging materials as per approved artwork, samples, shade cards, and specifications.
Verify dimensions, printing quality, color shade, sealing, and physical condition.
Identify defects like leakage, scratches, dents, color mismatch, and printing errors.
Support inward packaging material inspection and release process.
Prepare QC reports, inspection records, rejection reports, and testing documents.
Maintain approved samples, reference standards, and packaging testing records.
Report non-conforming materials to senior QC or QA team.
Coordinate with warehouse, production, QA, purchase, R&D, and vendor teams.
Follow GMP, SOP, GLP, hygiene, safety, and quality control practices.
Support audits, documentation checks, and vendor quality reviews.
Assist in packaging quality improvement activities.

Required Skills
Knowledge of packaging material testing and inspection.
Basic understanding of cosmetic packaging QC.
Ability to check artwork, shade, dimensions, and approved samples.
Good observation skills for defects and quality issues.
Basic knowledge of GMP, SOP, and QC documentation.
Accuracy in testing, reporting, and record keeping.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Basic computer knowledge.
Willingness to learn manufacturing quality systems.
Ability to work in a plant environment.

Educational Qualification
B.Sc. Chemistry, M.Sc. Chemistry, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Diploma in Packaging, Diploma in Printing Technology, or relevant science background. Freshers can apply.
