HCP Wellness Private Limited is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control candidate for Packaging Material Testing. The selected candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying packaging materials used in cosmetic, skincare, hair care, oral care, and toothpaste manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
Inspect packaging materials such as bottles, tubes, jars, caps, pumps, labels, cartons, mono cartons, stickers, and laminated tubes.
Check packaging materials as per approved artwork, approved samples, shade cards, dimensions, and specifications.
Perform visual inspection for printing errors, color variation, scratches, dents, leakage, sealing issues, and physical damage.
Support inward packaging material inspection and maintain proper QC records.
Prepare packaging material testing reports, inspection records, rejection reports, and quality documentation.
Verify packaging material quality before release for production use.
Support sampling, labeling, storage, and approval process for packaging materials.
Coordinate with warehouse, production, QA, purchase, R&D, and vendor teams for packaging quality issues.
Identify and report non-conforming packaging materials to senior QC or QA team.
Follow GMP, SOP, hygiene, safety, and quality control practices during daily work.
Maintain approved samples, reference standards, inspection tools, and testing records.
Assist senior team members during audits, documentation checks, and packaging quality reviews.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of quality control and packaging material testing.
Understanding of packaging material inspection for bottles, tubes, cartons, labels, caps, jars, and pumps.
Ability to check artwork, dimensions, color, printing quality, and approved samples.
Good observation skills for finding defects, damage, leakage, shade variation, and printing errors.
Basic knowledge of GMP, SOP, QC documentation, and quality compliance.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in inspection and reporting.
Basic computer knowledge for maintaining QC records.
Willingness to learn packaging QC systems in a manufacturing plant.
Ability to work with production, warehouse, QA, and purchase teams.
Educational Qualification
B.Sc. Chemistry, M.Sc. Chemistry, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Diploma in Packaging, Diploma in Printing Technology, or any relevant science, pharmacy, or packaging background.
