HCP Wellness Private Limited is looking for responsible and detail-oriented candidates for Quality Control Packaging jobs in Gujarat. The selected candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, verifying, and documenting packaging materials used in cosmetic, skincare, hair care, oral care, and toothpaste manufacturing.
This job is ideal for freshers and experienced candidates with knowledge of packaging material testing, packaging QC, visual inspection, artwork checking, GMP documentation, and quality control processes.
Key Responsibilities
Perform quality inspection of packaging materials used in skincare, hair care, oral care, toothpaste, and cosmetic manufacturing.
Check bottles, tubes, jars, caps, pumps, labels, cartons, mono cartons, stickers, laminated tubes, and other packaging components.
Verify packaging materials as per approved samples, artwork, shade cards, dimensions, specifications, and quality standards.
Inspect packaging materials for printing errors, color variation, scratches, dents, leakage, damage, sealing issues, and incorrect details.
Prepare and maintain packaging material testing reports, inward inspection records, rejection reports, and QC documentation.
Support sampling, labeling, storage, approval, and release process of packaging materials.
Coordinate with warehouse, production, QA, purchase, R&D, and vendors for packaging quality-related issues.
Identify defective or non-conforming packaging materials and report them to the senior QC or QA team.
Follow GMP, SOP, GLP, hygiene, safety, and quality control practices during daily work.
Maintain approved samples, reference standards, inspection tools, and packaging testing records.
Support internal audits, quality checks, and documentation activities related to packaging material quality.
Assist senior team members in vendor quality improvement and packaging defect analysis.
Required Skills
Basic to strong knowledge of packaging material inspection and packaging quality control.
Understanding of cosmetic, personal care, oral care, toothpaste, pharmaceutical, or FMCG packaging will be an advantage.
Ability to check packaging materials as per approved artwork, sample, dimension, and specification.
Good observation skills for identifying defects, printing mistakes, color mismatch, leakage, scratches, and packaging damage.
Basic knowledge of GMP, SOP, QC documentation, rejection process, and quality compliance.
Good communication skills for coordination with internal teams and vendors.
Attention to detail and accuracy in inspection, testing, and report preparation.
Basic computer knowledge for documentation and quality records.
Ability to work in a manufacturing plant environment.
Willingness to learn and grow in quality control and packaging material testing.
Educational Qualification
B.Sc. Chemistry, M.Sc. Chemistry, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Diploma in Packaging, Diploma in Printing Technology, or any relevant science, pharmacy, or packaging background.
