HCP Wellness Private Limited is looking for a responsible Quality Control Officer for Packaging Material Testing. The selected candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, verifying, and documenting packaging materials used in skincare, hair care, oral care, toothpaste, and cosmetic manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
Inspect packaging materials such as bottles, tubes, jars, caps, pumps, labels, cartons, mono cartons, stickers, laminated tubes, and other packing components.
Check packaging materials as per approved artwork, approved samples, shade cards, dimensions, specifications, and quality standards.
Perform visual inspection for printing errors, color variation, scratches, dents, leakage, sealing issues, cap fitting issues, and physical damage.
Support inward packaging material inspection and maintain accurate QC records.
Prepare packaging material testing reports, inspection records, rejection reports, and quality documentation.
Verify packaging material quality before release for production use.
Support sampling, labeling, storage, approval, and release process for packaging materials.
Identify and report defective or non-conforming packaging materials to senior QC or QA team.
Coordinate with warehouse, production, QA, purchase, R&D, and vendor teams for packaging quality-related issues.
Follow GMP, SOP, GLP, hygiene, safety, and quality control practices during daily work.
Maintain approved samples, reference standards, inspection tools, and packaging testing records.
Assist senior team members during audits, documentation checks, vendor quality reviews, and packaging quality improvement activities.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of packaging material testing and packaging quality control.
Understanding of packaging material inspection for bottles, tubes, cartons, labels, caps, jars, pumps, and stickers.
Ability to check artwork, dimensions, shade, printing quality, approved samples, and specifications.
Good observation skills for identifying defects, leakage, damage, scratches, printing mistakes, and color mismatch.
Basic knowledge of GMP, SOP, QC documentation, rejection process, and quality compliance.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in inspection, testing, and reporting.
Basic computer knowledge for maintaining QC records and reports.
Willingness to learn packaging QC systems in a manufacturing plant.
Ability to coordinate with production, warehouse, QA, purchase, and vendor teams.
Educational Qualification
B.Sc. Chemistry, M.Sc. Chemistry, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Diploma in Packaging, Diploma in Printing Technology, or any relevant science, pharmacy, chemistry, or packaging background. Freshers can apply.
