Job Description

HCP Wellness Private Limited is hiring a Quality Control Officer – Analytical for Raw Material and Packaging Material. The selected candidate will be responsible for testing, checking, documenting, and verifying raw materials and packaging materials used in cosmetic, skincare, hair care, oral care, and toothpaste manufacturing.

This role is ideal for candidates who want to build a career in quality control, analytical testing, cosmetic manufacturing, GMP documentation, and product quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities
Perform testing and inspection of raw materials used in cosmetic, skincare, hair care, oral care, and toothpaste manufacturing.
Carry out packaging material testing for bottles, tubes, caps, labels, cartons, jars, pumps, and other packing components.
Check raw material and packaging material samples as per approved specifications and standard testing methods.
Prepare and maintain QC records, test reports, COA verification, inward material records, and analytical documentation.
Support physical, chemical, and visual testing of raw materials and packaging materials.
Verify material quality against approved samples, artwork, shade cards, specifications, and quality standards.
Assist in sampling, labeling, storage, and release process of raw material and packaging material.
Coordinate with production, warehouse, purchase, QA, and R&D teams for material quality-related activities.
Identify and report material defects, deviations, non-conformance, damage, leakage, shade variation, printing error, or packaging mismatch.
Follow GMP, GLP, SOP, safety, hygiene, and quality control practices during daily work.
Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of QC instruments, testing equipment, and laboratory materials.
Support senior QC and QA team members during audits, documentation checks, and quality system activities.

Required Skills
Basic knowledge of quality control, analytical testing, and laboratory practices.
Understanding of raw material testing and packaging material inspection.
Knowledge of cosmetic, personal care, oral care, or pharmaceutical manufacturing will be an advantage.
Ability to read and follow SOPs, specifications, test methods, and quality documents.
Good observation skills for identifying packaging defects, printing errors, color variation, leakage, and material damage.
Basic understanding of GMP, GLP, QC documentation, and quality compliance.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in testing and reporting.
Basic computer knowledge for maintaining QC records and reports.
Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing quality control environment.

Educational Qualification
B.Sc. Chemistry, M.Sc. Chemistry, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Diploma, or any relevant science background.
Freshers with strong interest in quality control and analytical testing can apply.
