QC Microbiologist - Senior Officer/ Executive

HCP Wellness Private Limited is a leading private label cosmetic manufacturer in Bavla, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. We specialize in contract manufacturing, OEM, and third-party production for top skincare, hair care, oral care, and personal care brands.

Key Responsibilities
✔Execute microbial limit testing (MLT) on raw materials, packaging, bulk, and finished goods.
✔Perform pathogen screening (E. coli, S. aureus, P. aeruginosa, C. albicans) per BIS and ISO standards.
✔Conduct Preservative Efficacy Testing (PET) / Challenge Testing on new cosmetic formulations.
✔Oversee cleanroom environmental monitoring and purified water bioburden analysis.
✔Validate and calibrate microbiology equipment (autoclaves, LAF units, incubators).
✔Handle media preparation, strain culture maintenance, and Growth Promotion Testing (GPT).
✔Lead Out of Specification (OOS) investigations and implement corrective actions (CAPA).
✔Prepare and maintain GLP/GMP records, analytical test reports, and SOPs for ISO 22716 audits.

Required Skills
✔3+ years of experience in QC microbiology within cosmetic, personal care, or pharma manufacturing.
✔Solid working knowledge of ISO 22716 (Cosmetics GMP), BIS standards, and GLP regulations.
✔Hands-on expertise in PET testing, MLT, and cleanroom environmental sampling.
✔Proven ability in OOS investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA reporting.
✔Strong equipment operational skills and technical report writing.

Educational Qualification
✔Required: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Microbiology, Industrial Microbiology, or Biotechnology.
