HCP Wellness Private Limited is hiring for the position of QA Officer – B.Pharm / M.Pharm Freshers | Cosmetic Manufacturing based in Bavla.
We are hiring a meticulous and motivated QA Officer to join our Quality Assurance team at our Bavla, Ahmedabad manufacturing plant. This is an excellent opportunity for B.Pharm and M.Pharm freshers to begin their career in cosmetic and personal care manufacturing under the guidance of experienced QA professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct In-Process Quality Assurance (IPQA) checks at each stage of cosmetic production to ensure compliance with SOPs and GMP guidelines
Review and verify Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs) and Batch Packing Records (BPRs) for accuracy and completeness
Perform line clearance activities before the start of production and packaging operations
Monitor and verify raw material, in-process, and finished goods sampling as per defined protocols
Assist in the preparation, review, and periodic revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and participate in root cause analysis (CAPA) for quality deviations
Conduct environmental monitoring, equipment calibration checks, and hygiene audits on the production floor
Coordinate with production, R&D, and regulatory teams to resolve quality-related issues promptly
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of QA activities, test results, and inspection records
Support internal audits, customer audits, and third-party inspections including BIS, ISO, and regulatory body visits
Ensure all products meet label claims and comply with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and CDSCO cosmetic regulations
Participate in stability studies, shelf-life testing, and new product development trials as required
Required Skills
Basic understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) as applicable to cosmetic/pharmaceutical manufacturing
Familiarity with cosmetic/pharma regulatory framework – BIS, CDSCO, ISO 22716 (Cosmetic GMP)
Knowledge of quality tools such as CAPA, NCR, deviation management, and change control
Proficient in documentation practices – BMR, BPR, SOP writing and review
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with attention to detail
Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi/Gujarati
Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) for documentation and MIS reporting
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and coordinate across departments
Willingness to work in shifts and on-floor environments (cleanroom / production areas)
Eagerness to learn and grow within the quality assurance function
Educational Qualification
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized university
Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) – Quality Assurance / Pharmaceutics / Pharmacognosy specialization
