Production and Packaging Supervisor – 1–2 Years Experience

HCP Wellness Private Limited is a leading private label cosmetic manufacturer based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. We specialize in skincare, hair care, oral care, toothpaste and personal care product manufacturing.

HCP Wellness Private Limited is hiring a responsible and experienced Production and Packaging Supervisor for its cosmetic manufacturing facility in Bavla, Ahmedabad.

The selected candidate will supervise daily production and packaging activities, manage workers, monitor product quality and ensure that finished cosmetic and personal care products are manufactured and packed according to approved specifications and production schedules.

Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceutical, FMCG or manufacturing operations are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily production and packaging activities on the manufacturing floor.
Allocate work to production operators, packing staff, helpers and line workers.
Ensure production and packaging activities follow approved SOPs and batch instructions.
Monitor the filling, sealing, labelling, coding and secondary packaging of finished products.
Verify product labels, batch numbers, manufacturing dates and expiry dates.
Check bottles, tubes, jars, pouches, pumps, caps, cartons and other packaging materials before use.
Maintain proper line clearance before starting a new product or batch.
Prevent product, label and packaging material mix-ups.
Monitor daily production output, packaging quality and target completion.
Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Stores, Maintenance and Dispatch teams.
Maintain batch records, production documents and packaging material reconciliation reports.
Identify and report product defects, machine issues, material shortages and process deviations.
Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, safety and GMP compliance in production and packaging areas.
Train workers on SOPs, quality standards and safe working procedures.
Reduce production loss and packaging material wastage while improving productivity.

Required Skills
Knowledge of cosmetic, personal care, FMCG or pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
Experience in supervising production and packaging workers.
Understanding of filling, sealing, labelling, coding and packing processes.
Basic knowledge of GMP, SOPs, hygiene and workplace safety.
Ability to verify batch records, labels and packaging specifications.
Good manpower handling and work-allocation skills.
Strong attention to detail and product quality.
Basic documentation and record-maintenance skills.
Ability to achieve daily production and packaging targets.
Good communication, coordination and problem-solving abilities.
Basic computer and Microsoft Excel knowledge is preferred.

Educational Qualification
Diploma, ITI or graduation in a relevant discipline.

Experience Required
1–2 years of experience in production, packing or packaging operations.
