Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Production Chemist to join our manufacturing team. This role is vital to ensure the consistency, quality, and compliance of formulations during production. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in cosmetic or personal care manufacturing and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support seamless production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
✔Oversee and monitor the manufacturing process of skincare, cosmetic, and oral care products.
✔Conduct in-process checks and ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, and quality standards.
✔Coordinate with the R&D and QA teams for batch validations and production trials.
✔Maintain batch manufacturing records (BMRs) and other regulatory documentation.
✔Troubleshoot process deviations and propose corrective actions.
✔Ensure hygiene and safety protocols are followed within the production area.
✔Support scale-up activities from lab to pilot to commercial batches.
✔Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams for raw material and packaging planning.

Qualifications and Skills:
Education/Certifications:
✔B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Cosmetic Technology, or related field.

Hard Skills:
✔Knowledge of cosmetic chemistry and formulation techniques
✔Familiarity with GMP, ISO, and regulatory standards in cosmetics manufacturing
✔Proficient in using production and lab equipment
✔Documentation and reporting proficiency
✔Understanding of raw material specifications and COAs

Soft Skills:
✔Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
✔Excellent organizational and time management skills
✔Team player with good communication and interpersonal abilities
✔Proactive and adaptive in a fast-paced production environment

Preferred Experience:
✔2–5 years of experience in production operations within the cosmetic, skincare, or personal care industry.
✔Prior experience in private label manufacturing or working with contract manufacturing setups is an advantage.
