Packing Supervisor – Cosmetics & Personal Care Manufacturing

HCP Wellness Private Limited is a leading private label cosmetic manufacturer based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. We specialize in skincare, hair care, oral care and toothpaste manufacturing.

HCP Wellness Private Limited is hiring a responsible and detail-oriented Packing Supervisor for its cosmetics and personal care manufacturing facility in Bavla, Ahmedabad.

The selected candidate will supervise daily packing activities, manage packing workers, monitor packing quality and ensure that finished products are packed as per approved specifications.

Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in cosmetics, personal care, FMCG, pharmaceutical or manufacturing packing operations may apply. Candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily packing activities on the production floor.
Allocate work to packing operators, helpers and line staff as per the production plan.
Ensure skincare, hair care, oral care and personal care products are packed correctly.
Check labels, batch numbers, manufacturing dates, expiry dates and product details before packing.
Monitor primary and secondary packing for bottles, tubes, jars, pouches, cartons and boxes.
Verify packing materials before starting production batches.
Maintain proper line clearance to avoid product, label or packing material mix-ups.
Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Stores and Dispatch departments.
Track daily packing output and help achieve production targets.
Maintain packing records, batch documents and material reconciliation reports.
Ensure cleanliness, hygiene and safety in the packing area.
Report packing defects, machine issues, material shortages and process deviations.
Train packing workers on SOPs, quality standards and safe working practices.
Reduce packing material wastage and improve packing efficiency.

Required Skills
Knowledge of cosmetics, personal care, FMCG or pharma packing operations.
Ability to supervise packing workers and manage packing lines.
Understanding of primary and secondary packing processes.
Basic knowledge of GMP, SOPs, hygiene and workplace safety.
Ability to check labels, batch coding and packing specifications.
Good manpower handling and team coordination skills.
Strong attention to detail and quality checking.
Basic documentation and record-maintenance skills.
Ability to meet daily production and packing targets.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Excel, is preferred.

Educational Qualification
Diploma, ITI or graduation in any relevant field.

Preferred Experience:
1–2 years of experience in packing or packaging operations.
