Job Description

HCP Wellness Private Limited is a leading, ISO-certified private label and contract cosmetic manufacturer in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. We specialize in customized skincare, hair care, oral care, and toothpaste manufacturing solutions for growing global brands.  

We are hiring a detail-oriented Packing Production Supervisor to oversee primary and secondary packaging lines at our Bavla facility. You will ensure that packaging meets strict quality, aesthetic, and schedule targets.

Key Responsibilities
Line Management: Oversee daily cosmetic and toothpaste packaging lines from filling to final boxing.
Manpower Allocation: Assign and manage line workers to meet shift production targets.
SOP & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to cGMP standards, line clearances, and batch records.
Quality Inspection: Conduct visual checks to eliminate defects, labeling errors, and coding mistakes.
Documentation: Maintain accurate logs for batch packing, yields, and shift handovers.
Machine Coordination: Monitor packaging machinery and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
Wastage Control: Track and reduce material shrinkage, laminate loss, and carton damage.
Material Requisition: Coordinate with the warehouse to ensure non-stop line supply.
Safety & Hygiene: Maintain high cleanroom hygiene standards and workplace safety protocols.

Required Skills
Knowledge of primary and secondary packaging processes in FMCG, cosmetics, or pharma.
Familiarity with line clearance protocols and Batch Packing Records (BPR).
Basic understanding of automated packaging, sealing, and coding machinery.
Strong team leadership, coordination, and floor management skills.
Ability to solve line bottlenecks under tight production timelines.
Basic math skills to calculate production yields and reject percentages.
Basic computer competency (MS Excel, Word) for reporting.

Educational Qualifications
Diploma, ITI or graduation in any relevant discipline.

Experience Required
1–2 years of experience in pharma or cosmetic packaging. Strong learning freshers are encouraged to apply.
