Packaging Supervisor Jobs in Ahmedabad – 1–2 Years Experience

HCP Wellness Private Limited is hiring an experienced and responsible Packaging Supervisor for its cosmetic manufacturing facility in Bavla, Ahmedabad.

The selected candidate will supervise daily packaging operations, manage packaging workers, monitor packaging quality and ensure that finished products are packed according to approved specifications and production schedules.

Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in cosmetic, personal care, pharmaceutical, FMCG or manufacturing packaging operations are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily packaging and packing activities on the production floor.
Allocate work to packaging operators, helpers and line workers.
Ensure skincare, hair care, oral care and personal care products are packed correctly.
Check product labels, batch numbers, manufacturing dates and expiry dates.
Monitor primary and secondary packaging for bottles, tubes, jars, pouches and cartons.
Verify packaging materials before starting each production batch.
Maintain proper line clearance to avoid product or packaging material mix-ups.
Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Stores and Dispatch teams.
Monitor daily packaging output and ensure production targets are achieved.
Maintain packaging records, batch documents and material reconciliation reports.
Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, safety and GMP compliance in the packaging area.
Identify and report packaging defects, machine issues and material shortages.
Train packing workers on SOPs, quality requirements and safe work practices.
Control packaging material wastage and improve line efficiency.

Required Skills
Knowledge of cosmetic, personal care, FMCG or pharmaceutical packaging operations.
Experience in supervising packaging workers and production lines.
Understanding of primary and secondary packaging processes.
Basic knowledge of GMP, SOPs, hygiene and workplace safety.
Ability to check labels, batch coding and packaging specifications.
Good manpower handling and team coordination skills.
Strong attention to detail and quality checking.
Basic documentation and record-maintenance skills.
Ability to meet daily production and packaging targets.
Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
Basic computer and Microsoft Excel knowledge is preferred.

Educational Qualification
Diploma, ITI or graduation in any relevant discipline.

Preferred Experience:
1–2 years of experience in packaging or packing operations.
