Packaging Supervisor – Cosmetic Manufacturing | 1–2 Years Experience

HCP Wellness Private Limited is hiring a responsible and detail-oriented Packaging Supervisor for its cosmetic manufacturing facility in Bavla, Ahmedabad.

The selected candidate will supervise daily packing operations, manage packaging workers, monitor packaging quality and ensure that finished cosmetic and personal care products are packed according to approved specifications.

Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, personal care or manufacturing packaging operations may apply. Candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily packaging and packing activities on the production floor.
Allocate work to packing operators and helpers according to the production plan.
Ensure cosmetic products are packed according to approved packaging specifications.
Verify product labels, batch numbers, manufacturing dates and expiry dates.
Monitor primary and secondary packaging operations for bottles, tubes, jars, pouches and cartons.
Check packaging materials before starting each packing batch.
Maintain line clearance and prevent product, label or packaging material mix-ups.
Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Stores and Dispatch teams.
Monitor packaging output and ensure daily production targets are achieved.
Maintain packaging records, batch documents and material reconciliation reports.
Ensure proper housekeeping, hygiene and safety practices in the packaging area.
Report packaging defects, machine issues, material shortages and process deviations.
Train packing workers on standard operating procedures and quality requirements.
Reduce packaging wastage and ensure efficient use of packaging materials.

Required Skills
Knowledge of cosmetic, pharmaceutical or FMCG packaging operations.
Ability to supervise packing workers and manage packaging lines.
Understanding of primary and secondary packaging processes.
Basic knowledge of GMP, SOPs, hygiene and workplace safety.
Ability to verify labels, batch coding and packaging specifications.
Good team-management and workforce-allocation skills.
Strong attention to detail and quality control.
Basic documentation and record-maintenance skills.
Ability to achieve production targets within scheduled timelines.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Excel, is preferred.

Educational Qualification
Diploma, ITI or graduation in any relevant discipline.
