HCP Wellness PVT. LTD. is hiring for the position of Packaging Procurement Executive – NPD & Development (Cosmetics / FMCG / Pharma) based in Satellite, Ahmedabad.
We are hiring a Packaging Procurement Executive – NPD & Development with strong experience in packaging material procurement, packaging sourcing, and packaging purchase for cosmetic, skincare, personal care, FMCG, and pharma products under third party manufacturing.
The role requires hands-on exposure to cosmetic packaging procurement, skincare packaging sourcing, pharma packaging purchase, and active involvement in new product development (NPD) and packaging innovation as a packaging material buyer.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Manage packaging material procurement, packaging sourcing, and packaging purchase for tube packaging procurement, bottle packaging sourcing, label and carton procurement, and flexible packaging sourcing for new and existing products.
✔ Execute cosmetic packaging procurement, skincare packaging sourcing, pharma packaging purchase, and third party manufacturing procurement requirements for NPD projects.
✔ Work as a packaging material buyer handling PM procurement and PM sourcing for tubes, plastic bottles (HDPE/PET), glass bottles, mono cartons, labels, sleeves, pouches, and sachets.
✔ Support new product development (NPD) by sourcing innovative packaging materials and coordinating with R&D and marketing teams.
✔ Drive vendor development packaging including supplier sourcing, vendor onboarding, vendor evaluation, and vendor relationship management.
✔ Handle RFQ, quotation comparison, cost analysis, and price negotiation for packaging purchase and FMCG procurement.
✔ Ensure cost optimization, quality control, and timely availability of packaging materials for product launches.
✔ Manage packaging specifications including measurements, artwork alignment, labeling, stickering, and packaging development.
Candidate Requirements
✔ 2–5 years experience in packaging material procurement / packaging sourcing / packaging purchase.
✔ Experience in cosmetic packaging procurement, skincare packaging sourcing, or pharma packaging purchase.
✔ Strong exposure as packaging material buyer / PM procurement / FMCG procurement.
✔ Experience in NPD, packaging development, or product launch support.
✔ Knowledge of tube packaging procurement, bottle packaging sourcing, label and carton procurement, and flexible packaging sourcing.
✔ Strong coordination, negotiation, and communication skills.
