Packaging Material Executive – Cosmetics Manufacturing | 1-2 Years Experience | Ahmedabad

Key Responsibilities
✔Manage sourcing, procurement, and coordination of packaging materials (bottles, tubes, cartons, labels, caps, laminates) for skincare, hair care, oral care, and toothpaste product lines
✔Liaise with packaging material vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance
✔Inspect and verify incoming packaging materials against approved specifications and standards
✔Maintain accurate inventory records of packaging materials using stock registers/ERP systems
✔Coordinate with production, quality control, and stores teams to ensure uninterrupted material supply
✔Monitor packaging material stock levels and raise purchase requisitions proactively
✔Support cost-optimization initiatives by evaluating vendor pricing and material alternatives
✔Review and maintain packaging specifications, artwork approvals, and material documentation
✔Ensure packaging materials comply with GMP, safety, and regulatory requirements
✔Coordinate packaging trials and approvals for new product development
✔Maintain documentation for audits, vendor agreements, GRNs, and material traceability
✔Identify, report, and resolve packaging material quality issues in coordination with vendors and QC

Required Skills
✔Strong knowledge of packaging materials used in cosmetics, personal care, or FMCG industries
✔Experience in procurement, vendor coordination, or material sourcing
✔Understanding of quality inspection processes for packaging materials
✔Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and inventory/ERP systems
✔Strong attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset
✔Good communication and vendor negotiation skills
✔Ability to coordinate across production, quality, purchase, and stores teams
✔Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
✔Basic understanding of GMP, packaging compliance, and regulatory standards
✔Problem-solving skills for resolving material and supply-chain issues

Educational Qualification
✔Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Packaging Technology, Printing Technology, Supply Chain, or a related field
✔Candidates with a background in Cosmetics, FMCG, or Packaging industries will be preferred

Experience Required
✔1 to 2 Years (Packaging Material / Cosmetics / FMCG Manufacturing preferred)
