Packaging Line Supervisor – Cosmetics & Personal Care Products

HCP Wellness Private Limited is a leading private label cosmetic manufacturer based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. We specialize in skincare, hair care, oral care, toothpaste and personal care product manufacturing.

HCP Wellness Private Limited is hiring a responsible and experienced Packaging Line Supervisor for its cosmetics and personal care manufacturing facility in Bavla, Ahmedabad.

The selected candidate will supervise daily packaging line activities, manage packing workers, monitor packaging quality and ensure that finished products are packed according to approved specifications, batch requirements and production schedules.

Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in cosmetic, personal care, pharmaceutical, FMCG or manufacturing packaging operations are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily packaging line operations and workforce activities.
Allocate work to packaging operators, helpers and line workers.
Ensure skincare, hair care, oral care and personal care products are packed correctly.
Monitor primary and secondary packaging processes.
Verify product labels, batch numbers, manufacturing dates and expiry dates.
Check bottles, tubes, jars, pouches, pumps, caps, cartons and other packaging materials before use.
Maintain proper line clearance before starting a new product or batch.
Prevent product, label and packaging material mix-ups.
Monitor packaging line speed, output and quality standards.
Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Stores and Dispatch teams.
Maintain packaging records, batch documents and material reconciliation reports.
Identify and report packaging defects, machine issues, shortages and process deviations.
Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, safety and GMP compliance on the packaging line.
Train packaging workers on SOPs, quality requirements and safe working practices.
Reduce packaging material wastage and improve line productivity.

Required Skills
Knowledge of cosmetics, personal care, FMCG or pharmaceutical packaging operations.
Experience in supervising packaging lines and managing workers.
Understanding of primary and secondary packaging processes.
Basic knowledge of GMP, SOPs, hygiene and workplace safety.
Ability to verify labels, batch coding and packaging specifications.
Good manpower handling and task-allocation skills.
Strong attention to detail and product quality.
Basic documentation and record-maintenance skills.
Ability to achieve daily production and packaging targets.
Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
Basic computer and Microsoft Excel knowledge is preferred.

Educational Qualification
Diploma, ITI or graduation in any relevant field.

Experience Required
1–2 years of experience in packaging line, packing or production operations.
