Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Packaging Inventory Manager to oversee the end-to-end management of packaging materials inventory. This role is critical to ensuring optimal stock levels, minimizing waste, and aligning inventory with production needs across all product lines.
Key Responsibilities:
✔Monitor and manage stock levels of all packaging materials including bottles, tubes, jars, cartons, labels, etc.
✔Forecast packaging requirements based on production schedules, sales projections, and historical usage data.
✔Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
✔Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP systems and conduct regular audits.
✔Develop and implement inventory control procedures to prevent stockouts, overstocking, and obsolescence.
✔Collaborate with suppliers and vendors for on-time delivery and quality assurance of packaging materials.
✔Ensure proper storage, handling, and labeling in compliance with GMP and company standards.
✔Generate inventory reports and KPIs for management review.
✔Participate in sustainability initiatives by optimizing packaging utilization and reducing waste.
Qualifications & Skills:
✔Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (ERP/SAP/Tally)
✔Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
✔Understanding of packaging materials used in cosmetics/skincare/oral care
✔Familiarity with supply chain, warehousing, and logistics
