Job Overview

We are looking for a Mechanical Service Engineer to oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of our manufacturing machinery and production lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in mechanical systems, experience in cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or FMCG manufacturing, and a passion for ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities

✔Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose, repair, and maintain manufacturing machinery, filling & packaging equipment, and utilities to minimize downtime.
✔Installation & Commissioning: Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new production equipment.
✔Process Optimization: Continuously improve machine efficiency and reduce operational costs by implementing best practices.
✔Compliance & Safety: Ensure all equipment meets GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA, and industry regulations.
✔Documentation & Reporting: Maintain service logs, preventive maintenance schedules, and troubleshooting records.
✔Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the production, quality assurance, and R&D teams to support product development and ensure smooth production.
✔Vendor Coordination: Liaise with equipment suppliers and service providers for technical support and spare parts management.

Qualifications & Skills

Hard Skills (Technical Expertise)

✔ Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems.
✔ Hands-on experience with automated filling, mixing, and packaging machines in cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or FMCG industries.
✔ Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
✔ Proficiency in preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
✔ Understanding of GMP, ISO, and regulatory standards in manufacturing.

Education & Certifications

✔Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
✔Certification in Industrial Maintenance, Automation, or GMP Compliance is a plus.

Experience Requirements

✔2 to 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance/service engineering within the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, food, or FMCG manufacturing sector.
✔Experience with PLC-based systems and automated machinery is an advantage.
