Job Summary:

The Factory Manager will oversee the end-to-end operations of our cosmetic and personal care manufacturing facility. This role requires a strong technical background in cosmetic and personal care production, exceptional leadership skills, and a focus on quality, efficiency, and compliance. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless production processes, maintain high-quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Oversight:

✔Manage daily manufacturing operations, including formulation, mixing, filling, and packaging of skincare, cosmetics, and oral care products.
✔Develop and execute production plans to meet business objectives and customer demands.
✔Monitor production metrics and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

2. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

✔Ensure all products meet stringent quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, GMP, FDA).
✔Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to address and resolve quality-related issues.
✔Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to quality and safety protocols.

3. Technical Expertise:

✔Utilize in-depth knowledge of cosmetic and personal care manufacturing processes, including raw material handling, formulation, and packaging.
✔Troubleshoot technical issues related to equipment, processes, and product formulations.
✔Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation.

4. Team Leadership:

✔Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of production staff to achieve operational excellence.
✔Conduct training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge of manufacturing processes and safety standards.
✔Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

5. Inventory and Resource Management:

✔Oversee inventory levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to ensure uninterrupted production.
✔Optimize resource utilization, including manpower, machinery, and materials, to minimize waste and reduce costs.

6. Health, Safety, and Compliance:

✔Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
✔Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all employees.
✔Maintain accurate records and documentation for regulatory and audit purposes.

Qualifications:

✔Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
✔Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in cosmetic and personal care manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
✔Strong technical knowledge of cosmetic and personal care formulation, production processes, and equipment.
✔Proven experience in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and process optimization.
✔Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
✔Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools for production planning and inventory management.
✔Knowledge of GMP, ISO, and FDA regulations is mandatory.

Preferred Skills:

✔Experience in skincare, cosmetics, or oral care manufacturing.
✔Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
✔Strong analytical skills to interpret production data and drive decision-making.
