Job Summary:

The Chemist will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our products through rigorous testing and analysis. This position requires a strong understanding of chemical principles, laboratory techniques, and quality control procedures. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

✔Perform chemical and physical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
✔Conduct stability testing, compatibility testing, and other analytical tests to evaluate product quality and shelf life.
✔Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports, documenting all findings and observations.
✔Maintain accurate records of all testing procedures, results, and equipment calibrations.
✔Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
✔Assist in the development and validation of analytical methods.
✔Monitor and control the quality of raw materials and finished products throughout the manufacturing process.
✔Troubleshoot analytical problems and provide technical support to production and R&D teams.
✔Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
✔Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and relevant regulatory guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

✔Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
✔1-3 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or related industry.
✔Strong understanding of analytical techniques, including HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and titration.
✔Proficiency in laboratory techniques, including sample preparation, solution preparation, and data analysis.
✔Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and relevant regulatory guidelines.
✔Experience with stability testing and interpretation of results.
✔Ability to develop and validate analytical methods.
✔Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
✔Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
✔Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
✔Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
✔Proficiency in using laboratory software and Microsoft Office Suite.
✔Experience in the skincare, cosmetics, or oral care industry is a plus.
