QC Officer – Packaging Material Testing

Job Summary:
Responsible for checking, testing, and approving packaging materials and artwork to ensure they meet the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
✔Inspect incoming packaging materials like cartons, labels, pouches, films, bottles, and caps.
✔Perform basic QC tests such as GSM, bursting strength, thickness, and visual inspection.
✔Check artwork for correctness: spelling, color shade, layout, alignment, barcode, batch space, and overall print quality.
✔Compare artwork with approved master artwork/specification.
✔Ensure packaging materials match approved artwork (text, colors, dimensions).
✔Record all test results and maintain documentation.
✔Report defects or non-conformities to the QC Manager.
✔Coordinate with suppliers for artwork corrections or material issues.
✔Ensure testing instruments are clean and calibrated.

Required Qualifications & Educational Background
✔B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Cosmetics, or related field.

Experience Required
✔1+ Years of experience in Packaging Material QC/QC Lab – FMCG/Cosmetics/Pharma/Personal Care industry
