Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Asst. Manager – Quality Assurance (IPQA) to lead and supervise in-process quality assurance activities on the production floor. The role requires a strong understanding of GMP and quality control protocols to ensure that each batch produced meets internal and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
✔Supervise and manage IPQA operations during manufacturing and packaging processes.
✔Conduct and verify line clearance, in-process checks, and sampling as per SOPs.
✔Review and ensure proper completion of Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Batch Packaging Records (BPR).
✔Lead investigations for deviations, implement CAPA, and monitor their effectiveness.
✔Ensure compliance with cGMP, GLP, ISO, and internal quality management systems.
✔Train and mentor junior QA/IPQA staff on best practices and SOP adherence.
✔Support regulatory inspections, audits, and documentation readiness.
✔Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Production, QC, R&D, Engineering) for quality assurance initiatives.
✔Drive process improvements and quality system enhancements across the IPQA function.

Qualifications:
Education:
✔B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences.

Experience:
✔5–8 years of relevant IPQA or QA experience in the cosmetic, skincare, or oral care manufacturing industry.

Key Skills:
Hard Skills:
✔Sound knowledge of GMP, ISO 22716, FDA/Drugs & Cosmetics Act, and other regulatory standards.
✔Proficient in CAPA, deviation handling, root cause analysis, and change control management.
✔Strong understanding of in-process checks, batch documentation, and quality audits.

Soft Skills:
✔Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
✔Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
✔Attention to detail and a proactive quality-first mindset.
✔Ability to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.
